MOA
MOA
MOA indicates the rail's incline. A 0 MOA rail is flat and is the natural choice for general hunting and range shooting.
An angled rail can provide more elevation adjustment in the scope when shooting at longer distances. Always use the MOA value specified for the particular variant.

Material
Material
This rail is made of steel, which is a classic material for Picatinny rails and mounts. Steel has high rigidity, good wear resistance, and stable contact surfaces during repeated mounting.
Steel is heavier than aluminum, but for a Picatinny rail, the weight difference is often limited in practice. The choice therefore typically depends more on the product's fit, construction, and surface than on weight alone.
Surface treatment
Surface treatment
This rail is made of blued steel. Bluing is a chemical surface treatment that provides an attractive, matte black finish and a degree of corrosion protection. It is a traditional surface treatment for firearm components.
Bluing is significantly less resistant than QPQ-treated steel and hard-anodized aluminum and therefore requires a little more care. A thin layer of oil after use in damp weather will keep the surface in good condition.

Mounting
Mounting
The rail is mounted on the rifle's receiver or mounting surface with the included screws.
Rusan specifies the following recommended torque settings:
• Torque for countersunk screws: 2.7–3.3 Nm
• Torque for set screws: 2.5–2.6 Nm
• Tighten the screws in a cross pattern for even distribution
We recommend using a torque wrench during installation. Some rails for rifles with prism/dovetail mounts may require minor adjustment by a gunsmith.

Compatibility
Compatibility
The rail has a Picatinny platform and can be used with standard Picatinny rings and mounts. The rail is also compatible with Weaver mounts.

This offers flexibility because you can combine rails, mounts, and optics from different manufacturers, as long as the mount is designed for Picatinny.
